Magical Paths Begging To Be Walked

Roads and paths pervade our literature, poetry, artwork, linguistic expressions and music. Even photographers can’t keep their eyes (and lenses) off of a beautiful road or path, which is why we collected this list of 28 amazing photos of paths.

Paths like these have a powerful grip on the human imagination – they can bring adventure, promise and change or solitude, peace and calm. There’s nothing like a walk down a beautiful path to clear your head – or to fill it with ideas!

I’ll leave you with an excellent quote from J. R. R. Tolkien’s works while you enjoy these images; “It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to.

Edinburgh, my home ^-^

I’d recognise that horizon anywhere. Me and DiGi would sit up on the right there (Arthurs Seat) and watch the city below. I’m very luck to have come from such a pretty city. If Bellbridge is London, Twinseeds was always Edinburgh to me, lol.

Edinburgh features a lot in Engelbaum, just so you know. Despite it being the capital of Scotland it gets ignored a lot in media.

photos by ryan dyar from the pacific northwest (click pic for location), who notes, “‘i try to bring a three dimensional sense of life to a two dimensional medium. sometimes, it requires many nights of camping in the back county waiting for the right conditions,” adding, “there are even a few shots where it has taken me years of traveling back to the same location to get the ideal setting.”

but he says, “if my images can bring awareness to protecting wilderness or even inspire a person to get out and see these areas for themselves, then that would be amazing.”

Disney movies in order of historical setting

(Excludes most of the package films. Some films, eg The Lion King, are impossible to pin down exactly and some, like Aladdin and Treasure Planet, are anachronistic, so these are estimations. A few have been split into 2 if there is more than one time period in the movie, and sequels have been put together.)

hnnnghhhh my bebes.

Even Creators have worries. I think nomatter how big and badass you are you never stop comparing your skills or ideas to other artists around you.

Which is silly… we’re all good at what we’re good at.

All the Creators have their own reasons for worrying but it all amounts to the same thing.

I relate to this on a spiritual level
